Valentine Brooch

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, who couldn't use a little heart? Check out our new Valentine Brooch in the Free Patterns. You say brooches aren't your thing?  No problem! Use the pattern as an applique on anything that screams for a little bling! Later this week I'll show you how to turn the Valentine Brooch into a totally fun necklace. (Fairy absolutely adores it!) Oh my goodness, Fairy looks absolutely adorable with her necklace. Love the little wool felted balls as the main part of the necklace.

Actually, they aren't wool balls but rather felted crocheted circles! Very easy. I'll have the complete instructions up in a couple of days. Since I've made it I've been thinking about all sorts of things to use the little round discs for! Love it when one project generates ideas for several more!

Oh, that's cool. Those little crocheted circles are so easy to make! It's one of the first things I learned how to do with a crochet hook.
