We are blessed to live in an area that has a million… perhaps a wee bit of an exaggeration… lakes and ponds. Also, we live in an area that has 4 very distinct seasons. And, as if that wasn’t all good enough, our area has a great many parks and wildlife areas that affords us boundless opportunities to enjoy the changing seasons with the wildlife.
One of favorite pass times in spring is to observe all the wildlife babies making their way in the world. From the antics of the baby squirrels scampering throughout our yard, to the baby ducklings swimming after their mommies on every lake and pond, we get a daily cuteness overload!
To me, nothing says spring as much as a newly hatched brace of ducklings. Today, we are sharing our Pond Duckie Applique. As always, it was sized to fit a 6″ x 6″ block, but it can be enlarged or reduced to meet your needs. Hope it brings a little spring into your step 🙂
