dinosaur applique - apatosaurus applique740wm

Recently one of my friends asked me to design some dinosaur appliques for her. Her grandson’s room was being decorated with dinosaurs and she wanted to make some throw pillows for his bunk beds. “Something between juvenile and realistic.” So, I created 4 new designs for our Dinosaur Applique Collection.

The first dinosaur was patterned after an apatosaurus that I like to call “Patty”. I will be sharing the other 3 designs over the next few weeks. As always, I made the dinosaur to fit on a 6″ x 6″ block but it can be enlarge of reduced to meet your needs. My friend is going to enlarge them to 12″ x 12″ to applique to 16″ pillows.

If you have a budding paleontologist in your family, I hope he or she enjoys our new friend. And, of course, I will be sharing coloring pages for each applique, too!
