Glory to the newborn king. Make a single angel or a Heavenly Host. Have them visit Baby Jesus at our <a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/advent-nativity\/\">Advent Nativity<\/a> which can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/advent-nativity\/\">HERE<\/a> or add a string and hang them as Christmas ornaments.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Materials:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 1\/2&#8243; angel body for large angel (pictured) 2&#8243; angel body for small angel<\/li>\n<li>felt or paper<\/li>\n<li>roving (optional)<\/li>\n<li>pipe cleaner<\/li>\n<li>craft glue<\/li>\n<li>non-toxic paint<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/angel-wings.pdf\">wing pattern<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gather together your supplies. You can get the pattern for the wings <a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/angel-wings.pdf\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-paintbody545wm.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15079\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-supplies545wm.jpg?resize=545%2C363\" alt=\"woodenadventangel-supplies545wm\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Paint the body of the angel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-paintbody545wm.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15077\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-paintbody545wm.jpg?resize=545%2C363\" alt=\"woodenadventangel-paintbody545wm\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can leave the head the natural wood or paint it. Here is a completed faceless angel. It matches the Nativity I made last year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/adventangel-faceless545wm.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15133\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/adventangel-faceless545wm.jpg?resize=545%2C363\" alt=\"adventangel-faceless545wm\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you decide to add features, you can either leave the face the natural wood or paint the face a color. I painted my head because I messed up my first face \ud83d\ude42 Both ways look nice. Paint the face using a fine tip paint brush or markers. For some tips and ideas for painting faces click <a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/knight-and-squire-tutorial-part-1-getting-started\/\">HERE<\/a>. Note: if you would like to paint hair on your angel do it now. If you would prefer to use roving, directions will be given later in the tutorial.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-paintface545wm.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15078\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/weefolkart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/woodenadventangel-paintface545wm.jpg?resize=545%2C363\" alt=\"woodenadventangel-paintface545wm\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cut out the wings. For tips on how to cut out felt click <a href=\"http:\/\/weefolkart.com\/how-cut-out-felt-revised\/\">HERE<\/a>. Instead of felt you can use card stock. You can add any hairstyle you would like. I am including the directions for how I made our angels &#8220;up-do).
