\nAnd tell your tales of hawks and snails,
\nAnd meadows you explore.<\/p>\n

Croon for me, dear Katydid,
\nSo everyone can hear,
\nThough some may say, please go away,
\nI love it when you’re near.<\/p>\n

Hum for me, dear Katydid,
\nYour song will never fade,
\nAnd have no fear, for come next year,
\nYour babes will serenade!<\/p>\n
