This week’s theme was The Little Red Hen. Although we did read the book and completed the project we will actually be revisiting this theme again in a few weeks when we get to go on a Flour Mill tour. Instead this week we were able to take a fun field trip to a candy store… yum. Unfortunately I forgot my camera for that one and do not have any photos to share of the enthralling, and oh so sweet smelling candy making process… but here are the kids (in their PJs) working on this week’s art project… glue batik quilt squares<\/a>. The kids are excited to be making another Harvest Quilt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This week we are working on Week Four of our Harvest Time<\/a> unit. I will be posting a weekly update to give everyone a space to chat about the program.
