  123. I used Oak Meadow years ago for my daughter. Now I would like to see my grandson enjoy it too.

    1. You asked to tell you what I liked about Oak Meadow. I liked how the teacher encouraged my daughter to be creative with lots of positive reinforcement. For instance, she didn’t just say great drawing. She would say, “I really like how you did this or that, etc.” I also like how they taught drawing. For instance, explaining how the tree is nourished from roots to trunk to branches to leaves.
And when I told the teacher how concerned I was that my daughter seemed to have a block in learning her times tables and how she hated memorizing, she simply told my daughter how to make a time table chart and use it every time, explaining that eventually she would know them all by heart. I liked how they were very flexible with any of the curriculum that I was not happy with and would suggest alternatives that would still teach the same lessons.

  124. Thank you so much for the opportunity!

  129. I already liked Oak Meadow on Facebook. I’m glad to “discover” it all over again and hoping to help my daughter use it with my grandson.

  130. We are very interested in trying Oak Meadow this year.

  131. Being Nanny to 3 beautiful grandchildren I was immediately struck by the magical, wonderland images on Oak Meadows curriculum materials. Venturing on to their website it was striking to immediately notice an upper grade course on social justice, a distinct contrast from most religious based home schooling materials and largely lacking in most face to face teaching programs. It is clear that Oak Meadow values a holistic, teaching approach that immerses the learner in a kinaesthetic, auditory and visual learning experience that is underpinned with a solid exploration of values and ethics. I can only imagine that a ‘little person’ could only emerge from this educational experience equipped intellectually, physically and armed with a good dose of emotional intelligence to navigate the adult world. I shall refer my daughter to the learning materials and curriculum program as I know this is exactly the type of learning program she would value for her children.

  132. I love how art and story telling are emphasized. I’m think it will be a great fit for my daughter when se starts kindergarten soon. I’d love to invest in some of the materials soon.

  133. I have been following oak meadow on FB for a while now.

  134. I love using Oak Meadow!! It’s the perfect fit for us!

  136. I work with young children and their caregivers. I would love to use Oak Meadow in my work. Thanks for the chance to win!

  137. I already “like” Oak Meadow on Facebook. 🙂

  138. I am looking forward to beginning my journey with my OM daughter. I cannot wait to watch her as she discovers the love of learning! I Love that she can develop her own path and really engage in learning. Structured learning does not work for everyone and I am pleased to be able to offer her this opportunity!

  139. I love OMs gentle and holistic approach to learning. We are working on appreciating nature and art more here in the desert of Las Vegas, but it has taken a lot of conscious doing. We don’t really have a lot of ‘green’ out here so we really have to get creative. We would love a curriculum to continue inspiring our appreciation and awe for nature and art.

  140. Love oak meadow, love wee folk art… thank you for the chance!!

  141. Liked om on Facebook!

  142. What a great giveaway! We are just about to order OM’s complete kindergarten curriculum, so this would be an amazing bonus for us! Adding your blog to my reader list too! 🙂
