We decided that some of our appliques will be "block" appliques. All this means is they were designed to fit on a 6" x 6" block which can then be sewn together with other blocks to make quilts, wall hangings, pillows, etc. I haven’t decided what I want to make yet, so I figure I’ll just start a collection. I love the asymmetry of this Curved Heart applique. It also features a feather stitch, which I’ve never done before, around the outer edge. It was great fun. Enjoy. Get pattern here.
