I’ve finished decorating the gnome house for spring. Below you can see the projects that we will be sharing. We will take you through the whole process including treating the wood and putting up decorations. There will be patterns for the felt flower garland on the bridge, spring sleeping bags, crocheted braided rugs, striped quilt, Britta’s fabric stash, needle felted gnome babies, the flower petal rug, the flower banner, and of course, the Flower Fairies. Tomorrow, I will put up the pattern for the Flower Fairies. What, you don’t have a gnome home? No problem. Most of these projects can be used with any dollhouse or simply made for your child’s favorite nook and cranny. So, plan to join us in making one project or all of them!
Wow. This has got to be the most beautiful gnome house I’ve ever seen. I am so excited to make everything you have. My mom was getting rid of tons of old silk flowers and I rescued them and have been taking them apart for the petals. I am so going to make the flower rug. Your blog is so awesome, but I think I’ve told you that before. LOVE everthing!
Wow, it’s enchantngly beautiful Kimara! Felt is really your magic medium!!!
I love your house! My gnomes say thank you. Please, put up more patterns for the house! It truly is your best work yet! 🙂
I totally agree. Kimara, you are truly a wonder. the best rafter i’ve ever seen. Kudos.
Thanks to everyone for all your lovely compliments. I adore working on the gnome house. As a matter of fact, I haven’t gotten around to doing any spring cleaning on my house yet, but the gnomes house has been cleaned and polished from the top down ;D I have lots of new projects to share so keep checking back!
I love your gnomes, Kimara. They’re too cute! What are their names. Put up more pattterns soon!
I LOVE the house. Please, please put up more patterns soon. I really need them. Your house is calling to my gnome, Blurple. She want’s a fabric stash. I have GNOMES ON THE BRAIN.
Thanks!!!!!
I have been enjoying your blog. Did you make the tiered stand or purchase this item for the gnome home? Would love more information on this item. Thanks!
Tim and I made our own gnome home and everything in it. I had been looking at several different ones… taking notes on the things I liked the most… trying to decide which one to buy, when totally awesome Tim said… "We could make that". And so we set off on an adventure to make our own. It definitely was a trial and error sort of thing but it turned out great and I got all the features I was looking for. I was hoping to find some time this spring/summer to do a tutorial, including patterns, but I’m afraid I have to push that project off yet again. We do have lots of projects available for making your own gnomes and furnishings. Click on the Pattern tab at the top of the page and scroll down to the Gnome list for patterns.
Referring to your fb-post from today, I made another visit here and the more I see/read from you Kimara and your daughter Michelle, the more I get addicted to your blog, to felt and gnomes and other loveable creatures. Thanks for petting my inner child, I am really grateful! Fondest regards, Lisa
