This is so lovely. I’m making a simple woodland patterned baby blanket. I’ve never appliqued, but I think it would be special to add just one applique in one of the blocks. This will be perfect. Nothing beats the wonderful earthiness of mushrooms! One of my fave dishes is mushroom sauteed in tomatoes, onions and scallions, then wrapped and steamed in banana leaf. Yum!
