Winter Wonderland Books Give Away!

Here is an email we got a couple days ago from one of our readers:

Hello,
I have been following your home school curriculum and have bought the books for them from an online store that sells used books. Well I had bought several books (I can Let you know which ones) and they got lost in the mail. The store very kindly replaced them but a couple of days ago (and about 6 weeks late) a very batter box showed up with the original books still in fine shape. I contacted the company and they said there was no need to send them back and if I don’t have any use for them I should donate them. If you would like to give them away on your blog I can send them to you (or directly to the winner). I understand if you are not interested I just thought I would ask.

She wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that the books are used but they are still in great shape. She bought them from betterworldbooks.com

So there you have it. Sarah is donating 15 books to one lucky WFA reader. Even if you are not doing the Winter Wonderland Unit, how cool would it be to receive ALL these books, and all the better that the have been previously loved 🙂

BTW… Sarah is sharing these books out of the goodness of her heart. She is also paying the shipping for the books to be sent to the winner. She never mentioned it, but I happen to know Sarah is the owner of the Etsy shop Nothing But Soap. I buy soap from her for myself and for gift giving. As a way of saying Thank You to her for her generosity, do yourself a favor and pay her shop a visit!

    I would be sharing these books with my 4 year old daughter. She has decided that she wants to read…NOW!! We go to the library every week but we would love to have some new books here.

    Wow! What a generous giveaway! Some of these books have been on our wish list for awhile now. It would be lovely to curl up by the fire and read some new books this winter. I would be sharing these books with my 4 year old and my 19 month old. We could give them a lovely home in our winter book basket:)

    How fantastic! I am just starting in the homeschooling area. I have a 3 yr old, 1 yr old and another due in a week. I have been collecting materials and ideas for my girls!

    How thoughtful and kind of her! I just discovered this lovely unit and have been using it with my Kindy son. Last week, we made the “snowball” cookies and he proclaimed, “Mama, this is so much fun!”. I would use the books for him and for his younger brother when he is old enough.     I would share these books with my Moonday school children. A group of children who learn about nature and the world around them by teaching non traditional ways. My daughter and her friends in the class would love to have such a great collection to read.

    I will be sharing these books with my soon to be four year old daughter as we begin our homeschooling journey and, in the future, my baby son as well. We also have friends who plan to homeschool and we hope to meet weekly in the future so this “curriculum” would be fantastic for our group as well. Thanks!

    My children are grown and gone now, no grandchildren expected for a long time, but I have a friend that has 6 children and another one on the way. They homeschool their children, always have and run a small business in town. They have always been there for me and are such an incredible family. I don’t know how she stays sane living in a 1000 sq foot house with six children, but she is always content, always calm no matter the chaos around her. I would love to be able to give this gift to her for her children, who absolutly love to read. Thank you.

    I’ve never seen such a generous giveaway! Thank you. I would so enjoy sharing these amazing winter books with my 4-year-old and 8-year-old sons. Living in California, we have quite mild winters, so we learn a great deal about the winter world through books.

    I can’t say enough about how wonderful your curriculum is. My children, age 5 & 3, are enjoying it. I have been lucky that the library had most of the books. My kids would love to have them in their own library.

    Oh, that is so nice of her!!! Thanks you!!! I plan on starting to homeschool this year. One of the curriculum I liked (and printed out) was from WFA!!! This would be a great addition to our library!!! Thank you again!
