Okay, I’ll admit it… I’m like everyone else. I love our Wooden Pine Forest, but my heart was captured by the little birdies! So, it only seemed fitting that I “immortalize” them in one of our applique blocks. I took the little bird and made 2 larger variations. On our directions you’ll find patterns for 3 different sized birds. For our applique block, I simply stacked the birds on top of one another. This is a very easy pattern, and went together quickly. I can think on many places this could be adorably placed! As always, it was made to fit a 6″ block, but the pattern can be enlarged or reduced to meet your needs. The Stacking Birdies Applique Block can be found HERE or with our FREE Applique Patterns. Enjoy!

Too sweet, I mean too tweet, I mean three tweet, hehe.
Holy schmoly… I love your blog and all of your goodies – I feel like I just found a huge chest of buried treasure! I think I need two full days to go through all of your free patterns. To say thanks for visiting my blog is an understatement!
I love the way you stacked these. Of course I’m thinking how many would you have to stack on a back until they disappeared? Stinking cute!
Now I want to make felt blocks for my youngest and put these adorable birds on them. Ack! I can’t add anything else to my list!! LOL
Michelle and I were just having this conversation. We may run out of time but we never run out of ideas of how to spend time 🙂 Our to-do "list" is more an unruly collage of multi-colored post-it notes on the cupboard above my computer! One of these days I need to take them all down and organize and prioritize them! Hmmm… that deserves it’s own post-it!
I’m making bibs for my sister’s baby shower. These will be so cute on them.
Yay! I love the birdies too. This is so cute! I’ll be linking.
This is the cutest thing I have seen in a while. I LOVE IT!
