EDIT: The contest is closed. Thanks for participating!
As hard as it is for us to believe, this week Wee Folk Art celebrates its 1 year anniversary! This year we've shared 378 blog entries, 18 applique blocks and 70 FREE patterns. We've learned a lot and made many new friends. All and all, it's been a great year! To help celebrate our anniversary, we are having a very special GIVE-AWAY.
And the prize is… YOU CHOOSE!!! Look over all the crafts over the past year, and pick the prize you would most like to win, and if you're the lucky winner, we'll craft it just for YOU!
To enter… simply leave a comment on this posting telling us which craft you would like to win and why. If you select something in the apparel section, we will make any item in a child's size. If color and size are a consideration, when will email you after you've won and get specifics.
Anyone can enter. We will use the email address you provide to contact you if you've won. You may enter a 2nd time if you link to this contest on your blog. THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN AT RANDOM, so make sure you actually make a separate entry, linking back to your website. The contest closes at 9:00 p.m. est on Sunday, August 2.
So… get a cup of coffee or tea or your favorite libation, flip through our FREE pattern section, and decide which prize you would like to win. If you decide you would like one of our Applique Blocks, I will applique it on a 8" x 8" piece of felt, making it suitable for framing or to incorporate in another project. GOOD LUCK to ALL!
What fun! Since I can’t have one of each, I’ll choose something I’ve always loved but would never be able to do myself. I love your Trailing Vine Star Ornament. Your work is incredible. Thanks for the chance to win.
Oh, what fun. I already know what I would want without looking! The doorstop kitty. I love cats and I’ve been drooling over yours for ages now. Fingers crossed and Happy Anniversary/Birthday! Love your site!
I would like to have a chance to win the Babushka block. I love the emboidery on that block and it would look fantastic in my dining room.
Happy blogiversary, and many more to come!!
I love your work
Vicki
First off let me say I love your site. And your birthday cake is absolutely perfect. Also, congrats on 1 year. You’ve shared a lot in 1 year. As far as choosing a gift, I would pick the mitered felt bowl. I don’t knit so this isn’t a craft I would make but I love it. I have made your gnomes and many of the felted projects. I made my daughter a couple of skirts that turned out adorable. BUT I CAN’T KNIT!!! So, if I’m lucky enough to win I’d opt for the mitered bowl. Thanks for the chance to win one of your great projects.
I just love, love, love your site and stop over almost every day.
You are an inspiration and a great help.
My little one (5 yrs old), would love the Babushka Doll Skirt, as when she saw your little one in the photo she gasped with joy, and said “Mummy I want one too!!”, so I will enter in hope for the chance to win one!
Thank you for your gracious offer.
Blessings,
Anna.
Happy Birthday. I have followed you guys and have been fascinated by your creativity and generosity. I would be honored to have a kitty doorstop.
yipee, hooray!!!happy first blpg anniversary to the best craft site there is.Thank you KImara and michelle for your generosity and inspiration!
I’d be honored to have a flower fairy it is so cute!!
I was so happy to happen upon your site. I love all the Wee Folk stuff because I am sure there are wee folks around my house!
I love looking again and again at your items. but mostly love the flowers, fairies and gnomes. My babies are way too grown up to enjoy the treasures of the clothes you make.
I do plan on linking your contest to my blog. I all ready have you listed as a blog I frequent and I hope all my friends do check you out. But, until I write about you on my blog, I’d have to say I am captivated by the little gnome sleeping bags. They are just as cute as can be! I love them all, but I think the browns are my favorite because they are so outdoors-ish. They remind my of my house.
Happy Anniversary to you and here’s to many more!
🙂
What a wonderful giveaway – I would love the owl doorstop – this is the cutest pattern ever.
Couldn’t help myself! I hope all my friends come and visit you.

Wonderful idea for a giveaway. I’d pick the patchwork flowerpot. Thanks for the chance.
What a generous giveaway! I love your blog and appreciate all the tips and patterns you share. I have a little girl who, while still a little young for your work, would be just darling in it in a couple of years. I would love to have an 8-paneled cupcake skirt for her. How sweet it is!
It was tough to choose, and I’m not sure what I’d do with them – but I think my favorite is the Felted Wool Marbles.
Hi Kimara and Michelle– I just blogged about your happy blog milestone!

Happy birthday! I love your blog, and I’ve used so many of your lovely patterns and tutorials. If my name is drawn, the Crooked House Pillow will be given the royal treatment at our own little house!
I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your very productive first year!
What a wonderful selection of projects to choose from in your contest. I would LOVE to win a Walking Bunny Finger Puppet.
How generous you are!! I think I’d like one of the knitted dishcloths. If I must choose, I’d like the basketweave one. Thanks so much and congratulations on your birthday!

and My favorite craft, is definitly the baby felt ball : https://weefolkart.com/?q=node/371
Happy Blog Birthday!! You do such great projects, thanks for sharing them 🙂 It’s a hard choice, but I think if I won, I would like a reusable lunch sack with the owl on it. I just love it so much 😀
After checking back and forth for my most favorite prize if I won, I have to choose the Treasure Pouch – so adorable with the applique critters! Congratulations on your first year – how time flies when you are having fun!
I’d go for the Waldorf Inspired Baby Doll. My own sewing skills are iffy at best.
I recently discovered your blog, and love it! I was going to attempt the Eight Panel Princess Skirt … but I’d rather win a completed one instead. My sewing still leaves much to be desired. 😉 Happy Birthday!
Happy One Year! i love the Waldorf Inspired Baby Dolls. so cute!
I love your blog & have been wanting to make the reusable lunch bag for ages, but can’t seem to find the time to do it. I take my lunch to work often and plastic bags from the grocery store just make me feel trashy 🙂
I love all your stuff. The owl doorstop is my favorite.
I love your contour clip barrette covers, and the models are adorable too!
Happy Birthday! You have shared many wonderful things over this past year and I thank you for it. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with over the years.
I think I have narrowed down my favorite to the Owl Doorstop (even though you do have many many wonderful projects). Again Happy Birthday and thank you for all the wonderful projects.
loved the bee-hive…
WOW! I just found your website, and I must say you have some awesome patterns! i definitley plan on making me some of those dishcloths and the note card holders.
I’d love to win the “Horace” the Doggie doorstop, my son ( who is 18 months old) is obsessed with dogs, and I’d love it for his room!
Happy Birthday to your wonderful blog, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
I love your blog! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas—if I ever make it back to my own blog again (soon, I hope!) I have many things to say about it! Your flat fell tutorial totally changed the way I sew, and solved a tricky little problem with one of my favorite dresses… Happy Birthday, Wee Folk!
I will admit that I had to look at everyone else’s comments to see what they asked for because I had such a hard time choosing. Finally, I chose the reusable lunch sack mainly because I am obsessed with owls right now. I will use it daily and it will be so cute sitting in the fridge at work!!
I am so in love with this site and it has inspired me to get right back into my sewing and crafts. I have appliqued shirts and made skirts… Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations and inspiring us all. I really love the Cat Doorstop and your little black and white cat looks just like our little pussycat Sebastian 🙂
I love you blog and I’m in love with the cupcake skirt!
I love your blog and have made some of your patterns for my grandkids. If I win I would love the felted wool bowl. it is so pretty. thanks.
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
I like anything made from felt, so I am in love with your doorstops. I think the cat is my favorite, followed by the owl. They are too cute!
What a great idea for a give away. I would have to choose the cat doorstop. I need it to keep my two fur-balls from opening doors that aren’t latched and getting into trouble.
happy birthday! i think i’d go for the felted bowl or the doll sweater!
Happy Birthday!!!!
My favorite? You owls!

Your Treasure Pouch would be perfect for my daughter; she’s always collecting little treasures at the park – leaves, pine cones, rocks, etc. Fingers crossed!
I’m having a tough time deciding…. so many wonderful treasures. Should I go for the felted bowl (for me) or the wonderful treasure pouch in pink of course (for the little one..)
Bowl! I can make treasure pouches for the girls!
I saw your post on a pocket..did you ever make one? If not, I have a great one I can show you on another blog. But she did not post a tutorial. You could probably figure it out. Email me if you are interested.
Love your blog!
