Oh, to sing the praises of the apple. Not only are they yummy to eat and a healthy choice for a snack, they are down right cute! My very first research paper back in third grade was on The Apple. What can I say… apples and I go way back! Although not traditionally considered a summer fruit, because of their ability to store and travel well, they can be enjoyed year round. Because of that, and along with the fact that they are traditionally red, I decided to include it with our summer fruit appliques.
As always The Apple Applique was designed to fit on a 6″ x 6″ block but can be enlarged or reduced to meet your need. Enjoy!
