Several weeks ago we had a new sponsor quietly join our Wee Folk Art family. We are so pleased, to introduce them now. It is Felt-o-rama. If you have never been to the site, you are in for a real treat. I’ll let the owner, April, tell you a little more about Felt-o-rama in her own words. 

A few years ago, I was in search of felt for my own craft projects. I just couldn’t find a source for a wide variety of felt in fresh and vibrant colors. I knew that other crafters out there must be yearning for the same beautiful felt and Felt-o-rama was born! Felt is the ultimate ‘blank canvas’ with a texture like no other and is such a pleasure to work with.
Currently, we carry 5 varieties of felt (Bamboo Felt, Recycled Eco-Felt, Wool Blend Felt, Woven Felted Wool, and 3mm Wool Felt) in a total of over 100 colors. In addition, we have a fantastic collection of felt-centric craft patterns and books, needle felting and embroidery supplies, and felt embellishments.
 
There is such an inspirational world of felt crafters out there and our blog has an extensive collection of links to felt tutorials. It’s definitely worth bookmarking for an endless list of projects for gifts, toys, home décor, accessories, and much more!
 
I am delighted April decided to start Felt-o-rama. I’ve been using her recycled-Eco Felt, which is lovely to work with, and I’ve just recently purchased some of her woven felted wool that I’m anxious to use. It is so soft and the colors are lovely.

Product description:
An environmentally friendly and lead-free craft felt! Ecospun (also known as Eco-fi) felt is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. On average, 10 plastic bottles will produce 1 pound of fiber.

Or Woolpets Needle Felting Kit – There are 7 kits to chose from. Three are pictured below and the product description is for the owl.

Product description:
This charming owl kit is designed for those with some experience needle felting but adventuresome craft folks won’t have difficulty. Step by step instructions include photographs for each step.
 
There is enough wool roving in the kit for two owls. Each owl is approximately 2.5″ long.
 
Each kit contains:
•White, gray, yellow and blue New Zealand Corriedale wool
•Black Merino wool
•2 felting needles
•Pipecleaner
You will also need wire cutters or scissors and a small pair of pliers along with a sponge or foam pad to work on. We recommend the Woolpets Needle Felting Foam Pad. Since the kit contains a sharp needle, children under the age of ten should have adult supervision.

    Very nice webshop! And another awesome giveaway.Is this contest also open to non-US people? (I would pay additional shipping if necessary!) If so, I would like to enter! And seeing as my dd loves ladybugs, I'd choose the Felting Kit for bumbelbees and ladybugs if I won 🙂

    I love the Parchment colored 3mm wool. It is like a blank canvas ready for embellishment!

    Forgot to add…If I win, I would love the Sock Monkey Wool Pet Kit if that is available. I am curious as to how the body gets the lovely mixed brown and cream color(from the roving, perhaps?)..it does look knitted!

    Thanks for adding another new website for me to visit. It is very hard to choose if I were to be picked for one of the prizes. I am into needle felting, yet have not felt on hand, so I would have to pick the felt bundle. Fingers crossed.

    Wool felt! Wool felt! Wool felt! I can never have enough wool felt. I love to work with it. The 3mm felt would be tremendous, as I have a Japanese craft book which calls for it in some projects … I see that felt in my future!

    Love the name Felt-o-rama! It just makes you smile before you even get to the good stuff. I loved all of her things… craft book selection is very nice, especially the Frabricate book, but I really loved the eco-felt. I find it fascinating that you can make fabric out of plastic bottles. I would have to pick that as my prize!

    I have yet to try needlefelting but want to and the kits look yummy. My granddaughter loves owls.

    very, very difficult is to choose which one I like it…3mm felt is very good for sewing such as dollhouses and gnome house.If I can make a choice, would be Recycled Eco-Felt Bundle. Best regards from my beautiful Croatia!

    holy moly how am I to pick? I’d want EVERY color of felt as I’m a color junkie and would have to have it all!! But I’d also need the book feltique as then I’d want to make all kinds of cool things with all the felt colors I got 😀

    When I open a shop and sigh you know it must be good!! Wow! That felt is just pure bliss!!! I would have to say that I absolutely LOVE the little fire tho….my girls would love that!!! Something else to add to my wish list!! 🙂

    yes, it is hard to choose a favorite, but I would have to say the color selection of the felt. I am a visual person and the array of colors was just inspiring.

    The eco felt is so lovely! That’s what I would choose. I’m intrigued by the 3mm wool felt. I like the green best.

    It wasn’t a difficult choice actually. I really like the “Multi-Size Wool Felt Beads – Bright Colors.” My felting abilities aren’t too good and I always love wool beads.
