Last week the girls’ dance studio ran a coolest bun contest. We saw some truly crazy buns that looked like cupcakes, birds’ nests, and monster faces. Then there were some really pretty designs with fancy braids, hair twirled into flowers, and such. Every day before dance, the girls had me do their hair in a different design. Fairy’s lattice ponytails and twisted bun combination ended up winning the prettiest bun category. It was super cool… although a bit time consuming.
