Now that it’s autumn, our happy little scarecrow’s job is over, and he has time to visit with friends, some of them are crows! Hanging out in the pumpkin patch is a perfect way to catch up with friends and to make plans for the coming winter. Enjoy coloring or painting our Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow Coloring Page.
You can use crayons, markers, colored pencils or watercolors to color your Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow Coloring Page. If your copier can handle it, we suggest you use card stock paper or watercolor paper in your printer if you wish to paint with watercolors.
The materials we use, but any materials you have are perfect!
Note: We do not use washable markers because the colors are not as intense, and they tend to lose color over time. We prefer to dress in messy clothes that don’t mind a few every marks here and there!
I’m not usually a fan of coloring pages ( and don’t have any grandkids close enough to entice me into working on one) but your sample is so lovely I may just try it. Thank you for the ideas on what media to use.
This may seem strange coming from someone that creates coloring pages, but as a rule, I’m not usually drawn to them, either. Several years ago, however, my grandbabies would say, “Gammy, draw me a turtle or a butterfly or a gingerbread man.” So, of course I would, and they would be delighted. I figured, since I had drawn it, I would share them here. Then I started coloring or painting them for the blog and found I truly enjoyed myself. We purposely keep them hand-drawn and don’t try to fancy them up. Personally, I like that about them. If you give it a try, I hope you have as much fun as I do! ~Kimara~
