I love watching children do handwork. It such a practice in patience and creativity!

When my son attended a Swiss Public School in Basel, Switzerland in 1986, knitting was part of the elementary school curriculum – for boys and girls!! Nice to see families knitting together!! 🙂

Horray for youngin’ knitters! My oldest needs a refresher, and I’d love to have my six year old jump on the wagon too! It is special to sit next to one’s children and knit alongside each other.
