Winter Wonderland Books Give Away!

Here is an email we got a couple days ago from one of our readers:

Hello,
I have been following your home school curriculum and have bought the books for them from an online store that sells used books. Well I had bought several books (I can Let you know which ones) and they got lost in the mail. The store very kindly replaced them but a couple of days ago (and about 6 weeks late) a very batter box showed up with the original books still in fine shape. I contacted the company and they said there was no need to send them back and if I don’t have any use for them I should donate them. If you would like to give them away on your blog I can send them to you (or directly to the winner). I understand if you are not interested I just thought I would ask.

She wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that the books are used but they are still in great shape. She bought them from betterworldbooks.com

So there you have it. Sarah is donating 15 books to one lucky WFA reader. Even if you are not doing the Winter Wonderland Unit, how cool would it be to receive ALL these books, and all the better that the have been previously loved 🙂

BTW… Sarah is sharing these books out of the goodness of her heart. She is also paying the shipping for the books to be sent to the winner. She never mentioned it, but I happen to know Sarah is the owner of the Etsy shop Nothing But Soap. I buy soap from her for myself and for gift giving. As a way of saying Thank You to her for her generosity, do yourself a favor and pay her shop a visit!

    I would be sharing the books with my 5 1/2 year old daughter, Sunny. I have been trying to incorporate some of the Winter Wonderland Unit this month, but have yet to find the funds to include all the books. What a great opportunity this is!

    What wonderful kindness!!! This would be amazing- I am using your curriculum in addition to one other (I blend the two) in my preschool classroom and I have been very disappointed in our local library’s very limited selection. I thought about purchasing them myself, but the cost really starts to add up! I will certainly visit her etsy store.

    This would be amazing! my son is suddenly into books and is incredibly inquisitive so I’d gladly share with him, and his younger brother. it’s their birthday at the end of the month and they will be 4 and 2. we are just starting to look into homeschooling and this is exciting!

    Wow! these are some wonderful books. I would share these with my daughter and pass on the stories that I already have on my shelf to a good friend and her twins.. My husband (a librarian) and I (an art teacher) just love books and are blessed with having a three year old who loves books also. I could also take them into school. This is a very generous giveaway.

    How wonderful!! We are avid readers in our house, and I would be sharing these books with my two small children, and my son’s kindy class 🙂 We often take books to his class. They would be well loved and often read 🙂

    What a generous offer! My three boys (ages 6,5 and 2) and I loved the Harvest Time cirriculum and have enjoyed the early days of the winter wonderland unit. We get all of our books from the library and would love to own them instead, so we could revisit them often! We would also be able to share the books with our dear friends and neighbors, who are also enjoying the winter wonderland unit!!

    What a wonderful giveaway. We are huge book lovers in our family.

    My four year old daughter and I would absolutely LOVE sharing this giveaway. She adores books and I love reading to her. I would also look forward to sharing them with my wee son when he is old enough.

    I would be sharing the books with my three homeschooled daughters, ages 7 yr, 5 yr and 1.5 yr.
    We did the Harvest Time curriculum books and are just starting the Winter Wonderland. We love the books!

    How wonderful of both the reader and better world books. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside despite the horrid rain outside. I will be sharing them with my two preschoolers ages 4 and 5. Although, really, I enjoy books just as much as they do. 🙂

    I would be sooo excited to win these. my kids are age 11 & 6. I would share with my community of friends and school. I am helping our waldorf method public school with their upcoming winter festival on feb 5th. It would be sooo exciting to win some books that I can give some back to our school library or home school group that works thru our waldorf method school or even give some away. I hope I win.

    I’ve been trying to get the books out of the library- for some we are on a ridiculously long waiting list. This would be amazing and much easier. I would be willing to pay the shipping- she shouldn’t have to pay for that.

    What a wonderful give-away! I would be sharing these books with my children (2 and 5) and our cousins that we have “Fun Friday” with (doing art and science) and our friends that we do a preschool with. Our local library has a pretty limited selection of books an we would be so happy to have these!

    What a huge giveaway! My son is already in Kindergarden, but I am planning on homeschooling my daughter for preschool next year. And though they are both going to attend regular school, I love including homeschooling/learning activities and stories in our everyday lives at home. When they would outgrow these, I would pass them along to a good friend of mine who just had a baby and has the same values and goals as me. She would love them as well!

    Hi. Would LOVE these. It is so hard to get decent product like this here in the UK! She is so generous – our littlest one whom we adopted a couple of years ago would love them.

    But we have friends with a US address we can use if they get mailed to us 🙂

    I would share these with my 3 and 8 year-old boys, we have just this fall embarked on our homeschool adventure and books are the only part of the program I have figured out, so far!
