Where do you go,
My dear feathered friend,
When the sky grows dreary,
And the day is at its end?

Do you have a lofty bed,
Just waiting your return,
Tucked deep among the branches,
Heaping high with moss and fern?

Oh how I wish that I could fly,
And follow you one night,
Then sleep among the branches,
Until the morning light.
