Harvest Time Reviews
Winter Wonderland Reviews
I just wanted to add a quick thank you for your fantastic curriculum. We dabbled with the Harvest Time Curriculum in the fall and are jumping in to the Winter Wonderland. I have all the books and we started last week. It is so much fun! So sweet, so gentle and so inclusive. My 2 year old can participate while my 5 year old is learning everything she needs to learn. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just can’t thank you enough!! ~ Andrea
We just finished our first week (we started with week 2) with the Winter Wonderland Curriculum. Our 4 and 6 year old really enjoyed it, and our 2 year old even joined in on some of the activities. I have found almost all of the books at our library and have just had to substitute a few of the secondary ones. Looking forward to the Spring curriculum ~ Miranda
- Hibernation by Margaret Hall is no longer available: replace it with What is Hibernation? by Bobbie Kalman.
- Getting Ready to Write Book A, mentioned in the Additional Books & Supplies list is no longer available: replace with any preschool or Kindergarten handwriting book.
Please note: The original free version is still available at www.WeeFolkArt.com (Winter Wonderland First Edition) and can be used as is. It has not be updated and some of the books may be out of print.
After weeks of searching for a preschool curriculum, I found this while searching for something entirely different! I printed the free winter curriculum and it was exactly what I was looking for. Does the purchased version include instructions for the art projects and fairy poems?
So glad you found us. We have so many children that have used Simple Season and are now beginning Cultural Connections. If you are on Facebook, make sure to join The Wee Folk Art Homeschooling group. It is a closed group so just request to join. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1042634892415362/ It is run by homeschooling parents that are using the Homeschool Companion guides. It is an amazing community that help and support one another. They are marvelous at answering questions, too. As for the print copy, we try to keep references and links up to date. We’ve done no editions of the free copies on line. There are instructions for all the art projects, but the fairy poems are not ours. It is a coloring book that is linked to in the guides. Also, this year there are Wee Folk Art created Nature Alphabet coloring pages and poems. Those are available separately on the homeschooling blog. When we are done with all the letters, we plan to publish a book.
Hope this answers your questions. Again, welcome, and if are on Facebook, make sure you join the group. There are over 1000 families in the group and that love to share and help out.
Fondly,
Kimara
Thanks, that does help. I didn’t read the instructions as thoroughly as I thought.
