Stir-fried bean sprouts, tauge goreng in Indonesian, is a wonderful side dish for many Asian recipes. This stir-fried bean sprouts recipe with scallions and garlic is a perfect side to Maylasian Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce. Sometimes it is difficult to get sprouts at local grocery stores because of the complexities of shipping them. Although fresh bean sprouts are the best, drained canned sprouts are an acceptable alternative.
