If you are new to our blog, then you have missed “oh so many” projects and musings. Unlike some blogs, where you can just jump in and move forward, you would be missing so much if you didn’t do some digging. Hopefully, you will be delighted at what you unearth. And, for all of our readers that have been with us over the years, it is easy to forget some of the projects we’ve done. We even do!
So, in order to make navigating our site a bit easier, we have several ways you can explore past content:
- Use our search button which can be found in the right column under the Networking buttons.
- Use our site index found below. Our index is much the same as a book’s. Simply scroll down until you find something of interest and click on it.
- If you are feeling particularly ambitious, and don’t want to miss a single entry, ALL of our posts are included in our Archives, also found below. Just click on a month and you will see all the entries.
- If you want to cruise our Galleries that contain just our Tutorials and Patterns, simply click on the Gallery Buttons (in the flower icons) found at the top of the page, and you will see a condensed version of our blog.
So there you have it. We hope this makes it easier to enjoy and navigate our site.
Is there a pattern for the Murphy bed using an old door?
I’m sorry but Tim didn’t do a tutorial on the bed. He had bought a kit… years ago… and followed their basic directions. I asked him if he could add doors to make it look like it was a closet. If you can do this kind of project yourself, I suggest finding a kit for the size bed you want, and add the doors to the base like Tim did. I do know he had to make the frame around it all wider to accommodate the depth of the doors. Hope this helps. ~Kimara~
I love these beds… but how do you put them on legs esp. At the 2 ends.
Sorry, I’m not sure which bed you are talking about. We have gnome beds, doll beds, and Murphy beds on the site. Which bed does your question refer to? ~Kimara~
